Accessibility Statement
Last updated: May 2026
Our commitment
EV Charging Help is committed to making this site accessible to all users, including those who use assistive technologies. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA.
Measures we take
- All images include meaningful alt text or are marked as decorative
- Color contrast ratios meet WCAG AA minimums (4.5:1 for body text)
- All interactive elements are keyboard navigable
- Form inputs have visible labels and associated error messages
- Heading hierarchy is logical throughout the site
- A skip-to-main-content link is present on every page
- The site respects the user's reduced-motion preference
- The AI chat assistant is keyboard navigable and screen-reader accessible
Known limitations
We are aware of the following areas that may not yet fully meet AA standards:
- Some PDF guide content may not be fully accessible to screen readers — accessible HTML versions are planned
- The interactive state map (planned for v2) will require careful accessibility design
We are actively working to address these issues.
